Do prefer to train alone or do you have a training partner?
I love training with people. Im not a fan of training solo. I feed off peoples energy in the gym and always prefer to train with other competitors.
Who was the first bodybuilder/athlete that you remember seeing who really inspired you?
When I first considered getting into competitor shape I was told to find a fitsporation. That person was Jeff Seid. I said I wanna look like this guy. Its amazing that 3 years later I will be sharing the stage at the Olympia with him.

Are you coached or do you coach yourself?
I’ve been with Ryan Bentson of Team Zero Gravity for every single show of my career.
Did you have to change your training style in prep for the O?
No I keep everything in my prep pretty simple and I want it to remain that way for Olympia. Lift heavy, diet hard, kill each cardio session and have as much fun as possible. I find the simpler the approach, the better.
What advice can you give to anyone out there that wants to step into the sport?
Do not underestimate the value of having a solid, well respected and proven coach. Many new athletes do not want to pay for a reputable coach, but in many cases you get what you pay for. I promise its worth the investment if you can seek out and work with a coach who has been around and has proven success.
